Savant syndrome

This week in class we learned a lot about different types of brain disorders. One i found most interesting was Savant syndrome which is a rare condition that people with developmental disorders may have. These people have one or more areas of experties, abilities, or brilliance. These people can draw the most amazing things and can create works of art that normal people couldnt imagine. I found this subject very appealing to me and is very enjoyable to learn about.

Left Brain vs. Right Brain

During the last couple days in class we all learned about how our brains work and the functions of parts in our brain. while learing this we had to watch a video and do a number of activities about it. The video we watched has very cool and had some great points and showed a lot in our progress with understanding the human brain. Everyone in the class also took a test to see if we were left or right brained, and i discovered i was right brain.
